We know there’s a surge of information surrounding COVID-19 on social media.  We are not here to talk about that.

We are here to talk about challenges being seen as opportunities if you allow yourself to think about things differently.

The Coronavirus shut-down has enabled families to reconnect, less pollution and more personal time.

And, with more personal time comes opportunities to reconnect with your customers, to stay top-of-mind to help ensure the survival of your business.

According to Grad Conn, Sprinklr CMO, the coronavirus is unfolding on social media with unprecedented volumes of conversations every second.

Communities are turning to social media to show love and support for their local small businesses like never before.

So here’s how this pandemic has sparked opportunities on social media for small businesses:

  • Isolation means we turn more to social media
  • Social media usage is at record numbers
  • Facebook sees a 70% increase in Messenger group video calls

Because time is now plentiful, you can no longer use the excuse “I don’t have time for this.”

The goal here is to leverage the opportunity of social media to engage, increase followers and create customer love.

Best Time to Post on Social Media

So when is the best time to post on social media?  The canned response is whenever your audience is most likely logged on and engaging.  With that being said, a well-timed post can lead to more likes, comments, shares and click-throughs.

Industry sources have compiled and compared data to provide you with the “ideal” time and day to post, per social media platform.  And, although there are additional variables such as industries, etc. we’re providing you with some simple insight to help you get the most out of your engagements.
